SEND and additional support
We are a fully inclusive setting that welcomes children and families from all ethnicities, backgrounds, needs, beliefs and abilities. We have a wealth of experience in working with children with a range of additional learning needs and we are committed to ensuring that each and every individual child meets their full potential. We work with local services to ensure that their developing needs are met and that all children receive the support they deserve. We're experienced in supporting children with Global Developmental Delays, ASD, visual impairments, behavioural challenges, children with education health and care plans, (EHCP's), social care involvement, genetic disorders, sensory impairment, physical disabilities and Downs Syndrome. All staff are paediatric first aid trained, and some of our colleagues are trained in Epi-pen administration, Makaton and PEG feeding. We work with local health visitors, occupational therapists, Speech and Language therapists, Portage service, educational psychologists and physiotherapists to make sure that every little one gets the appropriate, additional and individual approach to the support they need to thrive.

Funding and financial support
We offer a number of 2,3 and 4 year old funded spaces across the toddler rooms and pre-school. Some children will be eligible for additional Pupil Premium funding (means tested), which allows them to access free meals and other additional reduced/removed costs.
For children with additional needs, we are able to apply to the local County Council for additional funding to source resources that may benefit them, or fund additional staff if needed.
